Directions to Council?

Just head up Rt. 19 to Honaker. When you get into Honaker you'll stay on Route 80 all the way to Council. The school is right off the road, you can't miss it! Council is about 12 or 13 miles away once you get to Honaker. You'll cross this big ole mountain going into Buchanan County(be careful!) and once you get to the bottom of the mountain, the school is about 2 miles away!

Considering that I can be in Lebannon in about 35 minutes, I think I shall go that way.

How long does it take to get there from Clintwood or Haysi? Would I be better off driving up 19 to Honaker and then go that way?

What kind of gym do they have, size-wise?

Council has a fairly nice gym for such a small school. The lobby is pretty big, but there's not much room around the court to walk around. Their gym seats around 1500 I think.

Just watch out for that stretch between the Buchanan/Russell line and Council. It can be kinda tricky!

Nothing is too tricky for me. I've tackled some of the worst roads known to man (southern West Virginia). [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

I hear ya on that. The worst roads in Virginia make the ones in WV seem like freakin interstate highways lol.
